Wall painting
Variable dimensions

This wall painting was presented at the exhibition SNO 133 – Abstract Wall Paintings III # De Stijl 100 Years, at SNO Contemporary Art Projects (Sydney)
This composition is an appropriation of an illustration of a geometrical/mathematical principle of Euclid. It was taken from the book "The First Six Books of The Elements of Euclid" edited by Oliver Byrne in England, 1847. This quite unknown book was the first one to use elementary colours to assist the learning of Geometry, and it was an important influence on the appearance of the De Stijl movement in 1917.
